Randy Donaldson

Producer of critically acclaimed Broadway and Off-Broadway shows such as The Scottsboro Boys, American Son, The Pee Wee Herman Show, One Funny Mother, Triassic Parq, and Falling For Eve.
Randy is the Executive Producer of Marian, a new musical inspired by the life and legacy of Marian Anderson. He is also producing the upcoming production of Mr. Rickey Calls a Meeting. With a deep commitment to building an inclusive theater landscape, Randy focuses on stories that broaden representation, create opportunity, and invite audiences into powerful cultural conversations.
Randy joins the Wocstar Media Fellows Program in 2026, where he will develop new work and expand pathways for diverse voices across the theater industry.
Randy Donaldson is a Tony-nominated Broadway and Off Broadway producer whose work spans some of the most acclaimed productions in modern theater. His producing credits include The Scottsboro Boys, which earned twelve Tony Award nominations, American Son starring Kerry Washington, The Pee Wee Herman Show, One Funny Mother, Triassic Parq, and Falling For Eve.
Before his producing career, Randy earned his BFA in theater from Webster University and performed in eleven Broadway shows and national tours. His experience on stage and behind the scenes shapes his mission to make theater accessible, representative, and financially attainable for audiences and artists alike.

Nicki Micheaux
Actor, Writer, and Director
Nicki Micheaux was named Wocstar Media Fellow in 2024. Nicki exemplifies the creative entrepreneur who uses storytelling to take audiences on transformative journeys. Armed with over 30 years of industry experience and the skills honed in the directing program, Nicki completed her first feature film, “Summer of Violence” in 2024. The film, a moving exploration of a Black woman’s coming-of-age story, was a favorite on the festival circuit and premiered in theaters nationwide.
Summer of Violence highlights a Black woman’s poignant coming-of-age story with depth and resonance. The film captivated audiences in nationwide during the summer and fall of 2024. The film is available for streaming and on-demand viewing.
Nicki embodies the essence of a creative entrepreneur, using her talent to tell compelling stories that take audiences on transformative journeys. A true artist, she is a respected actor and a familiar face on television and in film, known for her memorable roles in Lincoln Heights, Animal Kingdom, NCIS Los Angeles, The Dark, The Shield, and Six Feet Under. During her four seasons as Jen Sutton on the ABC Family series Lincoln Heights, Nicki earned two NAACP Image Award nominations for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. In recent years, she has shifted her creative vision toward writing and directing. Her first two short films, A Violent End and VEIL, led to her acceptance into the prestigious ABC/Disney Directing Program, where she received invaluable mentorship from acclaimed director Kevin Hooks (Prison Break).
In addition to her creative pursuits, in 2024 Nicki developed and launched Elevate Creative Talents a course designed for actors, writers, directors, and producers to take their projects from script to screen. It focuses on writing, directing, and producing film and TV projects, a masterclass focused on getting projects out of development and into the world.
Nicki is a devoted mother of two and an Ambassador for Moms of Black Boys United, reflecting her commitment to both art and advocacy.
